TODAY IN BEACH CAFÉ: Spaghetti and Meat sauce OR Chicken Parmesan combo $3.25.
You can do some shopping at Barnes & Noble on Sunday afternoon and support the Mira Costa Book Fair. Stop by between noon and 6:00 pm; get a voucher from a Costa rep at the store and 25% of your purchase will go to Mira Costa. If you haven’t gotten your summer reading books yet, here’s another opportunity.
ASB will be open for recycling today.
Friendship Circle is cancelled today because of the Scholar Quiz. See you
next Thursday.
Ambassadors meet today at 3:00 in Mr. Waxler’s room.
ATTENTION all 7th and 8th Grade boys and girls thinking about doing Surfing PE as an 8th grader. On Wednesday the 21st there will be a meeting in the gym at lunch to give 7th graders the class requirements and a chance to meet current class members and ask them questions. You do not need to be an accomplished surfer to do the class. Come by at lunch and check it out.
We are now down to 64 teams. Team names, numbers and room numbers are displayed on the Library window. Remember, if your team wins today, you’re one of the top 32 teams and qualify for 2008 scholar quiz T shirt and this is your entry to the finals on Friday, May 23rd.
Attention All Students…There will be no dodge ball games at lunch today due to Scholar Quiz. Games will resume on Friday.
No art room Wednesday May 21st due to scholar quiz.
