The MBUSD Wellness Committee
Values Your Input

The members of the MBUSD Wellness Committee are in the process of developing a plan that will address goals for the district in the areas of nutrition, food services, and physical education/activity. The committee recognizes that the district and each school site play a critical role in promoting student health, preventing childhood obesity, and combating problems associated with poor nutrition and physical inactivity.

To help in the formation of the district's Wellness Plan, the committee would like to obtain feedback from parents and other stakeholders. A very user-friendly Wellness Checklist is available on the District's website, www.mbusd.org. Please take a moment to go to the website, print the survey, and share your thoughts on the current state of nutrition, food services, and physical education/activity in the Manhattan Beach USD. Completed surveys need to be submitted by Thursday, March 16, 2006.

Surveys can be returned to school sites or mailed to the attention of
